Hey mama,
If you're reading this in the middle of the night, bouncing your baby in the dark or feeding with one eye open — I’ve been there.
For the first few months, sleep feels like a myth. And even when the baby does sleep, you're still wired — listening for every breath, every movement, every sound. I know that feeling. The “lioness mum” mode: hyper-alert, body curled around your baby, ready for anything.
But I want to gently remind you — it won’t be like this forever.
Eventually, your little one will stop needing milk during the night. Whether you're breastfeeding or, like me, using formula — the day will come.
And when it does, it might feel... strange.
For me, once Ollie started sleeping through the night (around 9–10 hours straight!), I still found myself waking up in exactly the same position I fell asleep in — body stiff, joints aching. I had trained myself to sleep like a statue, always ready to jump out of bed.
That’s when I became extra grateful for the Baby Ollie “DreamNest” Adjustable U-Shaped Pillow.
I actually started using it during my pregnancy, around the 5th month — to help ease back pain and support my belly while I slept. And here’s the thing: I never stopped using it.
The DreamNest keeps my legs in the right position so that even if I don’t move much during the night (hello, lioness mode), I still wake up feeling rested, not sore. No more numb hips, aching back, or that stiff-leg shuffle in the morning.
So if you're still in the trenches — hang in there. Your nights will stretch longer. Your baby will sleep deeper. And one day, you’ll wake up and realize... you actually slept.
It’s okay if that moment still feels far off. You’re doing everything right.
With love and sleepy solidarity,
Renata (Ollie’s mum) 💛
